Tongue Point Job Corps Center – Seamanship Program
Tongue Point Job Corps Center - Seamanship Program is the only Coast Guard approved maritime training facility in the nation administered by Job Corps.  It has twelve instructors and develops one-hundred-and-twenty 18 to 24 year olds into proficient, professional, passionate credentialed Merchant Mariners. Headquartered in Astoria, Oregon, it has 3 training vessels, 1000-foot pier, 30 person gravity davit lifeboat trainer, and several Engineering/Deck classrooms.
Northeast Maritime Institute
Northeast Maritime Institute is a private, co-educational maritime college that offers its students an opportunity to pursue maritime career-oriented education through our degree program as well as through career training courses in our division of continuing education. SUNY Maritime College

North American Marine Environment Protection Association (NAMEPA)
“Save Our Seas” is the mission of the North American Marine Environment Protection Association (NAMEPA), which is an independent, marine industry-led entity that engages industry, regulators, environmental groups, educators and the public by promoting sound environmental practices. NAMEPA is a non-profit organization committed to preserving the marine environment through educating seafarers, students, and the public about the need and strategies for protecting global ocean resources. The International Propeller Club
The International Propeller Club of the United States is an international business network dedicated to the promotion of the maritime industry, commerce and global trade.  The Propeller Club aggressively promotes the maritime industry through many of its programs and partnering with other similar organizations.
Organization of Black Maritime Graduates
The OBMG was formed in 1994 by a group of SUNY Maritime College graduates to improve opportunities for minorities in the maritime industry. This is accomplished through recruitment, scholarships, mentoring, professional development seminars and networking.

Scholarships are awarded for academic achievement and financial need. Leadership abilities, social consciousness and work ethic all play an important role in the process of awarding the scholarships.

The OBMG is a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible and go entirely to scholarships as administrative costs are absorbed by the members.

Ship Operations Cooperative Program
SOCP is a non-profit organization of maritime industry professionals to promote beneficial innovations in ship and other maritime operations through the identification, development, and application of new methods, tools, and technologies. SOCP's overall objective is to improve the safety, productivity, efficiency, security, and environmental performance of U.S. vessel operations.
Any organization with U.S. interests that support vessel operations is eligible to participate in the cooperative program.
TEACH FLEET is the world’s largest collection of 200 Lego® ships from tugs to tankers. The ships are divided into all areas of the maritime field. It appeals to all ages and grade levels and is available for outreach and education events. Its focus is STEM, diversity, and environmental stewardship.
